Apex Mountain Guest Ranch

     Apex Mountain Guest Ranch (est. 1972), invites you to our comfortable, relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The Ranch, surrounded by mountains and valleys, offers mountain vistas and peaceful meadows, with wild flowers. We welcome you with old fashioned hospitality to make your stay a warm and memorable one.

We offer year-round accommodation in private rooms with private baths. The lodge offers warmth and comfort in the living room with open fireplace. In the adjoining dining room, we provide good hearty full-course home-cooked ranch-style meals.

Riding
The Ranch has many breeds of horses which include Appaloosa, Arabian and Quarter horses with a main interest in breeding and training Norwegian Fjord horses. We offer an authentic WESTERN EXPERIENCE, combined with quality horses that are matched to suit YOUR ability. You will enjoy scenery and good times. Each day is a new adventure. Experienced and courteous guides are willing to answer your questions, see to your needs and your comfort.

Summer Riding Camp


Each rider is assigned his or her own horse for the week. The riders, along with learning about horses, learn the idea of sportsmanship, and the responsibility of having to care for their own horse. (For children ages 9-15 years old).
